GOALS OF THE SPACE PARTY
The Space Party of the United States supports programs, organizations, and candidates for state and national office who will advance manned space exploration, mining, and colonization.
This includes development of the technology, equipment, and resource allocation for building settlements throughout the solar system and the Milky Way Galaxy.
The establishment of manned space stations in orbit around the various planets and moons at key locations within our own solar system to provide defense, maintenance, resupply, and refueling.
The construction of refineries and manufacturing facilities on the various moons of Earth, Saturn, and Jupiter to economically lift and assemble structures into space.
Promotion of research and development of advanced propulsion systems required for reaching, and safely maintaining, near light-speed manned space travel.
To reach and explore the star systems whithin a 25-light year radius from Earth in our lifetime.
To defend the ideals of freedom and peace through strength with the establishment of governmental agency and business partnerships whose goals are to invest in, and explore the farthest reaches of, the cosmos.
To equip all transport vessels, cargo ships, and colony stations with the latest technological developments in order to be self-sufficient for extended periods of time.
For the development and immediate deployment of advanced energy generation and food production in space.
Support development and deployment of advanced space-based defense systems. Energy beam weapons, Faraday shielding to protect vehicle systems from EMP effects and other weapons, nuclear shape-charges for propulsion and defense purposes.
To encourage cooperation between like-minded nations, agencies, aerospace businesses and other organizations to form partnerships dedicated to these goals.
